Printing & Scanning
The libraries and computer clusters at the University use a system called MyPrint for printing, copying and scanning to email.
Documents you print to the MyPrint system can collected from any of the 200 MyPrint devices across campus.
There is a charging system in place and the cost varies depending on the options you choose. The printers can print 1-sided or 2-sided, in black & white or colour, on A4 or A3 paper. In response to student feedback, to minimise environmental impact, the default option for printing is 2-sided on A4 in black & white. This is also the cheapest option.
Your documents arent physically printed until you log in at one of the MyPrint devices. Any documents you haven't collected will expire, without charge, after 24 hours.
How to print, copy and scan
There are full instructions for printing, copying and scanning on the IT website, including how to print from your own device.
How to manage your documents & printer credit
You can log in to the myprint.leeds.ac.uk website with your normal username and password.
You can use the website to see your MyPrint account balance, buy credits, upload documents for printing and view your printing history.
PLEASE NOTE: You should always allow plenty of time to get your work printed if you are submitting to a deadline, as the printers get very busy during the end of term period when many students have essays due in.
