Printing & Scanning
Most computer clusters at the University use a system called MyPrint for printing, copying and scanning to email.
There are over 200 MyPrint devices across campus which are stocked with A4 and A3 paper, offering single-sided or double-sided output, in either black & white or full colour.
When you print a document to the MyPrint system it will be held for up to 72 hours. During this time you can log in to any MyPrint device to collect your documents.
There is a charging system in place and cost varies depending on the options you choose. In response to student feedback, to minimise cost and paper usage, the default option for printing is double-sided on A4 in black & white.
How to manage your documents, PIN & printer credit
You can manage the documents that are waiting for collection by clicking on the Inepro icon in the system tray (in the bottom right of your computer), allowing you to be sure that you print exactly what you need. The Inepro icon looks like this:
You can set up a PIN so that you can collect your printing without your student card.
PLEASE NOTE: Printers in computer clusters get very busy during the end of term period when many students have essays due in. As a result you should always allow plenty of time to get your work printed if you are submitting to a deadline.
Some departments may have alternative printing arrangements in place.
