The University of Leeds uses Syllabus Plus (S+) as its primary timetabling tool, allowing courses to be scheduled ready for the next academic year. The Student Education Service (SES) Timetabling website has information on most aspects of the timetabling process.
If you need to do timetabling as part of your new role, you need to ensure you have access to the software and that you have undertaken training before you can get started.
If you don't have the Syllabus Plus software on your PC, contact the IT Service Desk to request installation. You'll need to include your computer details from http://mypc.leeds.ac.uk/.
Training for new users is held in March each year just before you need to start work on the timetable. If you are an existing member of staff and would like refresher training, it might be possible to arrange a one to one session. Comprehensive training materials are also available to download to supplement face to face training.
Email the timetabling team for training at firstname.lastname@example.org. Once you have completed the training you'll be issued with a username.
